This is where we use AI, and this is how it works.

This page shows every place where SeeYouSoon uses AI today: what is sent, who receives it, what is kept and what you decide yourself.

1. Who is responsible

SeeYouSoon is run by Timmarna Platform (sole trader), corporate ID no. 970905-3558, Lilla Bommen 1, 411 04 Göteborg.

We are the data controller for what you send to the AI features in the app. Cloudflare processes the data as our processor. For businesses' public texts, MiniMax and, when Kurdish is enabled, Google Gemini are also used, always without personal data. The customer-service AI chat is operated by CX Genie and opens only after your explicit consent (see section 6).

This page supplements the privacy policy. The rest about your data is set out there, for example how long chats and requests are kept.

2. Overview

Apart from these, there is no AI in the app or the panel. On the website, only the illustrations are made with AI (section 7). When the app detects which language a chat message is written in, our service does so using simple rules, without AI and without sending the text anywhere.

3. Scan the room with AI

When you make a moving request, you can tap «Scan the room with AI» and photograph one or more rooms, or choose photos you already have. The AI lists the furniture, and you correct whatever is not right. You can also skip the scan and fill in the list yourself.

To scan, you need to be signed in and have a mobile number on your account, just as when you send a moving request. You can scan at most 10 times an hour.

What is sent

  • At most 6 photos at a time.
  • The phone makes each photo smaller (at most 1280 pixels on the longest side) and saves it again as a new image. What the camera has written into the photo, such as the time and GPS position, therefore does not come with it. Our server removes such data once more before the photo is passed on.
  • The photos are sent to Cloudflare's AI service Workers AI, to the Mistral Small 3.1 model (@cf/mistralai/mistral-small-3.1-24b-instruct), an open model from Mistral AI that Cloudflare runs.
  • The photos are accompanied by a fixed instruction: list only furniture and household items that are visible, and ignore text, signs and images on screens.
  • No name, no address, no telephone number and no account ID are sent with them.

What comes back

  • A list of furniture and how many of each kind. The AI may only answer with the kinds in our own furniture list, so it cannot say anything else about the photos.
  • An item the AI is unsure about is never included in the list. The app shows how many items it left out.
  • Our server calculates the volume in cubic metres, a suggested vehicle and a suggested number of movers from the list, using fixed rules and without AI.

What is kept

Nothing from the scan itself is kept: not the photos, not the AI's response and not the list it suggested. Our logs never contain the photos or the response, only that an error occurred and what kind of error it was.

Only when you have gone through the list and tapped «Confirm» does the list become part of your moving request. The moving companies see it as «Household goods (photographed with AI, confirmed by the customer)».

An estimate, not a price

The list and the volume are an estimate, and the vehicle and the number of movers are suggestions. The scan does not set a price. The price comes from the moving companies' quotes, and it is the company that assesses how large the move is when it submits its quote.

We process the photos to produce the moving request that you yourself have asked for (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Tips when you take photos

  • Photograph the rooms without people in the picture.
  • Do not photograph papers, screens, photos of people or anything else that reveals something about you that you do not want to show. The AI is meant to ignore it, but the photo is still sent to Cloudflare.

4. Translate in the chat

Under a message from the other party, you can tap «Translate». This applies to the chat during a taxi ride and the chat in a booking with a business. You choose your language under «My language». If you have not chosen one, the app's language applies, and otherwise Swedish.

You can choose between Swedish, English, Arabic, Persian, Somali, Turkish, Polish, Bosnian, Russian, Ukrainian, German, French, Spanish, Finnish and Amharic.

Automatic translation

With «Translate automatically: on», every new message from the other party is translated without you tapping. Automatic translation is off until you switch it on yourself, and you can switch it off whenever you want.

It also means that the other party may have automatic translation switched on. Your messages are then sent for translation without you doing anything.

What is sent

  • The text of the message, exactly as it was written, and which languages are involved.
  • No name, no telephone number and no account ID is added. But if anything like that is in the text itself, it goes with it.
  • The text goes to Cloudflare's Workers AI, to the M2M100 translation model (@cf/meta/m2m100-1.2b), an open model from Meta that Cloudflare runs.
  • A message that is already in your language, or that has no letters (only numbers or emojis), is not sent.

What is kept

  • The translation is kept in our database together with the message, so that it does not need to be done again. It is deleted in the daily clean-up when it is 30 days old. If the message is deleted earlier, the translation is removed at the latest in the clean-up the following day.
  • Your choice of language and whether automatic translation is on are kept until you change them or delete your account. Your choice of language is included when you download your data.
  • Our logs never contain the text or the translation.
  • Each person can have at most 60 new translations made per minute.

The original remains

A translated message is shown with «Translated from …». Tap «Show original» to see exactly what was written. The original is never changed.

Machine translation can be wrong, especially with names, addresses, times, amounts and slang. Look at the original and ask the other party if something seems odd before you act on it.

5. What businesses write, in your language

If you read the app in Arabic, Persian or English, what businesses themselves have written for their page, such as menus and dishes, is shown in your language. «Translated automatically» is written above it, and «Show original» shows the business's own words with one tap. Kurdish is switched on only once our customer service has reviewed the translations. Until then you see the original.

What is sent

  • Only the text the business has written, and what kind of business it is. Nothing about you, the reader: not your name, your account or what you are looking at.
  • Arabic, Persian and English are translated by MiniMax, a company in China. Kurdish is translated by Google Gemini. If they do not answer, or the answer cannot be used, an open model from DeepSeek that Cloudflare runs in Workers AI translates.

What is never sent

  • Names of people, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, web addresses and street addresses are removed automatically from the text before it is sent, and put back in the answer.
  • Chat messages, wishes in «My needs», reviews and photos never go to MiniMax or Google.

What is kept

  • Each text is translated once per language, and the translation is kept with us for as long as the text remains. If the business changes the text, a new translation is made and the old one is deleted.
  • Our logs never contain the text or the translation.

The original remains

The description of a dish or a product is always also shown in the original language. No AI translates allergens or ingredient lists: the allergens are the EU's fixed list, and the ingredient list stands as the business wrote it.

Machine translation can be wrong. If you have an allergy, read the original or ask the business before you order.

The business can correct it

The business sees every translation under «Translations» and can correct it. Its own text then takes precedence over the AI's.

Suggestions for the business

A business can let AI suggest a product's name, category and description from a photo. The photo goes only to Cloudflare Workers AI, with the business's consent, and is not kept. The business can also fetch product facts: then only the product's name and brand go to MiniMax, which searches the web and suggests a description with sources. None of it is shown to customers until the business has read, changed and saved it. Allergens are never suggested.

Check for prohibited goods

When a business saves or imports a product, dish, service or public description that has passed our automatic word list, the redacted text (stripped of names, phone numbers, email addresses, web addresses and street addresses) is sent in the background to MiniMax, with an open DeepSeek model in Cloudflare Workers AI as fallback, to detect goods that may not be sold on SeeYouSoon (such as alcohol, tobacco, nicotine products, pork, gambling, adult products, drugs, weapons or medicines). The AI never hides, edits or removes anything on its own and sends no automatic notice to the business: it only places a flag in our staff review queue, where a human always makes the decision. If the text raises no concern, the words are cleared from the check row immediately. Where a review takes place, the words are deleted 12 months after the decision, and nothing is written to server logs.

6. Customer service chat

The chat icon on the map opens the customer service chat in the app. At the top it says «AI assistant · money and complaints go to customer service»: you are writing to an AI assistant, not to a human.

Before the chat loads, the app shows who runs it and where what you write goes. The chat opens only when you tap «Open chat». If you would rather talk to a human, tap «Call customer service instead». Consent is requested once per device and stored locally in support_chat_consent_v1, and you can withdraw your consent at any time in the app.

Who runs the chat

  • The chat is run by CX Genie and is shown from the address chat.seeyousoon.se.
  • What you write, images that you send, your IP address and information about your browser are processed on CX Genie's servers in Singapore.
  • The answers are produced by AI models from providers in the USA. According to CX Genie's privacy policy, these are OpenAI, Anthropic and Google.
  • Singapore has no EU adequacy decision. When you approve the chat, you therefore explicitly consent to what you write and send being transferred there and to the AI providers in the USA (Article 6.1(a) and Article 49.1(a) GDPR). You can always withdraw your consent in the app or call instead.

What the assistant does not know

You chat as a guest. The app does not send your name, your e-mail address, your account or your rides and orders to the chat. The assistant therefore cannot see or change anything in your account.

What the assistant says about money, compensation or complaints is not a decision from us. Such matters are decided by the customer service staff.

What you should know

  • Do not write any sensitive data in the chat, such as your personal identity number or information about your health.
  • We have not yet received written confirmation of how long CX Genie and its AI providers keep the conversations, or whether they are used to improve their services. If you want a conversation deleted, write to [email protected] and we will request it from CX Genie.
  • The chat may work out roughly which country you are in from your IP address, through the services ipify and IPinfo, when CX Genie has that setting switched on. It loads fonts from Google and Adobe, and if a technical error occurs, the error message may be sent to CX Genie's developers.
  • The app stores your consent on the device in support_chat_consent_v1, and once the chat has been opened it keeps a guest sign-in in your browser for chat.seeyousoon.se. More about this is on the page Cookies and storage.

You can also reach our human customer service around the clock in Swedish, Arabic and English through support cases in the app, by phone and at [email protected]. Never replaces 112 when life is in danger.

7. Images and videos on the website

The illustrations and the short animated videos on seeyousoon.se are made with AI tools, in our own cartoon style. They are not photographs of real customers, drivers or partners. No data about you is used to make them.

8. Where the AI runs and what the providers keep

Cloudflare is an American company. What protects the data when it is transferred outside the EU/EEA is set out in the privacy policy.

The models from Mistral AI, Meta and DeepSeek run at Cloudflare. Mistral AI, Meta and DeepSeek do not receive what you send.

9. No decisions about you and no training

  • None of the AI features makes any decision about you that produces legal effects or similarly significant effects (Article 22 GDPR), and no AI removes or hides content on its own. You edit the scan list yourself, moving companies set the price, a translation only displays words, the prohibited-goods check can only place a flag for a person on our team, and the assistant cannot do anything in your account.
  • None of the features tries to recognise people or emotions. The scan may only answer with furniture.
  • We do not train any AI models. We use ready-made models and send them only what is needed for your particular request.

10. The AI Act

The EU's AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, as amended by Regulation (EU) 2026/1744) sets requirements for those who provide and use AI.

Transparency (Article 50)

The transparency rules apply from 2 August 2026. Amendment 2026/1744 postponed the rules for high-risk AI, but not these. Anyone who interacts with an AI must be told so, at the latest the first time.

How we do it:

  • The customer service chat says «AI-assistent» (AI assistant) at the top, and the app explains who runs the chat before it opens.
  • The scan is called «Scan the room with AI» and says «The AI lists the furniture – you correct anything that isn't right».
  • The moving company sees that the household goods were «photographed with AI, confirmed by the customer». The request also carries a machine-readable marker showing that the list came from the scan.
  • A translated message is marked «Translated from …», and the original is one tap away.
  • What businesses write is marked «Translated automatically» when an AI has translated it, and the original is one tap away.
  • This page.

We consider that none of the features falls within the areas that the Act classifies as high-risk or prohibits, and that none of them is emotion recognition, biometric categorisation or a deepfake.

AI literacy (Article 4)

We are to take measures to support the AI literacy of those who work with the AI features on our behalf. Anyone who works in customer service or with the features on this page must know what is set out here: what is sent, where it goes, what is kept and that AI can make mistakes.

11. Questions and your rights

If you have questions about how we use AI, or want to exercise your rights under the GDPR, write to [email protected]. Your rights are set out in the privacy policy.

If an AI feature has made a mistake that affected you, for example a translation or a list, write to [email protected].

You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.
